What if Racket can't access my microphone?

If Racket says it's unable to access your mic, here's how to fix it.
Google Chrome's microphone settings to let Racket access your mic.

If you didn't see a popup to enable your microphone in the Racket studio, or accidentally tapped Deny when your browser asked if you wanted to enable your mic, here's how to fix your browser microphone settings:

Chrome: Open Settings, search for microphone, then select the racket.com entry under the Site Settings that should come up first. There, check the microphone settings and make sure they're set to either Ask (to have Chrome request permission each time) or Allow (to always let Racket access your mic).

Safari: Open Preferences, tap Websites in the top toolbar then select Microphone in the left sidebar. There, find racket.com and set it to either Ask (to have Safari request permission each time) or Allow (to always let Racket access your mic).

Firefox: In your address bar beside https://racket.com/, you should see a microphone icon on the left side. Tap that to set your microphone preferences and allow Racket to access your mic—then refresh the page, and try joining the Racket studio again.

Once your settings are fixed, try recording a Racket again, and it should work this time.

If that still doesn't work, here are more details for each popular device and browser's microphone settings:
